Student Success Planning – SSP

Westmount Elementary Student Success Plan Goals:

• Literacy Goal: We will improve achievement in literacy for each of our students, with a specific focus on our students of African and/or Mi'kmaw/Indigenous ancestry
• Math Goal: We will improve achievement in mathematics for each of our students, with a specific focus on our students of African and/or Mi'kmaw/Indigenous ancestry.
• Well-Being Goal: We will improve well-being at our school for each of our students, with a specific focus on our students of African and/or Mi'kmaw/Indigenous ancestry.

Goals stay the same, but instructional approaches and strategies related to these goals are monitored as part of an ongoing cycle of learning. When strategies are met, then new next steps are developed by teachers. Our focus is always on what our students know, what do they need to learn and what do we need to learn on behalf of our students to ensure optimal learning is taking place.
