What is your "why"? What drives you to do this important work each day?
The love of knowing when I'm with the students I am making a change. Making sure they know that they can be all they can with education and know that they are and always will be Black Excellence.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
I enjoy spending time with my students and listening to what they have to say. I enjoy supporting students academically when they are doing work in their classes, supporting them when they are playing sports and having my lunch or recess with them.
What would you most like families to know about the role of Student Support Workers in HRCE schools?
I would like families to know that we are here for their children for whenever they need us.
